Kids, Inc. cancels basketball

Due to Covid-19 concerns, Castro County Kids, Inc. will not be having basketball this season.

According to an announcement on Facebook, Benny Navarro said parents don’t want their kids involved due to the risks at this time.

Navarro added that Kids, Inc. is looking forward to baseball season if things work out.

With Kids, Inc. being managed and run by volunteers, Navarro said they are in need of manpower – at least four more members are needed. He said anyone that wants to join the board should contact him.
