The Hart Longhorns came in with big win over the Rule Bobcats this past Friday, 62-52 Hart took charge in the first quarter, scoring a touchdown on a Rule fumble that was recovered by Longhorns Noah Marin, putting the Hart squad up 6-0.

The second quarter, Ely Hernandez scored a touchdown on a 24-yard run, pushing the lead to 12-0.

The Bobcats answered with a touchdown on a 10-yard run, narrowing the score to 12-6.

Hart scored another touchdown on a Noah Marin 4-yard pass to Dominic Dominguez, and extra points by Draven Dominguez, putting the score at 20-6.

Rule came in with a touchdown and extra points on a 26pass and extra points, 20-14.

A Hart fumble by Ely Hernandez allowed the Bobcats to score another touchdown and tie the score the 20-20.

Hart Ely Hernandez scored another touchdown on a 33yard run, allowing the Longhorns to take the lead again, 26-20, but Rule rolled in with another touchdown on a 24yard pass, again tying the score, 26-26.

Longhorns Victor Nunez scored on a 19-yard run, with the two-point conversion pushing the Hart lead to 34- 26.

The Bobcats scored on a 64yard return, ending the first half with a narrow lead by the Longhorns, 34-32.

The battle continued in the third quarter with Hart Ely Hernandez scoring a touchdown on a 1-yard run, which was answered by Rule putting another touchdown on the board on a 75-yard return, 4038.

Ely Hernandez scored again on a 6-yard run, with the twopoint conversion by Noah Marin, increasing the Longhorn lead,47-38.

Rule scored on 10-pass with extra points, 47-45.

The Longhorns ended the third quarter with am 11-yard touchdown by Ely Hernandez, 53-45.

The fourth quarter got underway, with a run for a 6-yard touchdown and extra points by Draven Dominguez, 62-45.

Rule scored on 44-yard pass as the clock counted down, but it was not enough to offset the Longhorns victory, 62-52.

The Longhorns came in with a total of 462 yards, 86 passing and 376 rushing, in 60 plays and 21 first downs.

Passing leaders were Noah Marin with five completions of six attempts for 55 yards and one touchdown; Ely Hernandez, one completion of two attempts for 17 yards; and Draven Dominguez, two completions for two attempts for 14 yards.

Rushers for Hart were Ely Hernandez with 20 rushes for 169 yards and five touchdowns; Victor Nunez, 20 rushes for 165 yards and two touchdowns; and Diego Longoria, six rushes for 30 yards; Dominic Dominguez two rushes for 20 yards.

Receivers included Dominic Dominguez, with three receptions for 30 yards and one touchdown; Braden Diaz, one reception for 27 yards; Victor Nunez, one reception for 17 yards; and Noah Marin, three receptions for 12 yards.

Top Longhorns tacklers were Draven Dominguez, with five tackles, two assists and one interception; Dominic Dominguez, 5.5 tackles and four assists; Noah Marin, three tackles and four assists; Victor Nunez, 2.5 tackles and three assists; Ely Hernandez, two tackles and two assists; Braden Diaz, two tackles and two assists; and Diego Longoria, one tackle.
