Naz set to play in holiday tourneys

The Nazareth Swifts and Swiftettes will be traveling to participate in two different holiday tournaments.

The Swiftettes are bound for the 66thAnnual Championship Basketball Tourney, considered one of the top five holiday tournaments in the nation, scheduled for Dec. 28-30 in the Fort Worth area.

The Swiftettes will compete in the Royal Girls Division comprised of 14 teams from around the state and face Nocona on Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Saginaw High School main gym.

According to the Swifts basketball schedule, they will head for Canyon to play in the 3rd Annual Tatum Tough Christmas Tournament, on Dec. 28-29. No brackets were available.
