The Nazareth Swifts won the Area title against the Turkey Valley Patriots, 57-49, last Thursday night played at Amarillo High School.
The Swifts (15-9, 10,2) advanced to the Regional quarterfinals to play the Wildorado Mustangs (28-7,8-4) at Caprock High School on Tuesday .
The Swifts hit for 17/47 (36%) field goals overall with 10/24 (42%) two-point shots and 7/23 (30%) three-point shots, 16/24 (67%) free throws; collected 30 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block.
Top shots Kayle Rogers with 17 points, one offensive rebound, six defensive rebounds, one block, three steals and one foul; Trent Gerber with 11 points, five defensive rebounds, two steals and one foul; and Tanner Birkenfeld, 11 points, one assist, one defensive rebound, three defensive rebounds and three fouls.
