Swiftettes v Seminole

The Swiftettes fell to the Seminole Indians in the second round of the Whataburger Tournament, 53-42.

Nazareth held their own in the first quarter, with a tied score going into the second quarter. They outshot Seminole by five points, to end the first half leading 30-25.

Seminole stepped up their game in the second half, with the offense outshooting the Naz squad and claimed the win.

Nazareth shot for 15/36 (42%) field goals with 5/17 (29%) 3-pointers, collected 18 rebounds, 13 assists, five steals and two blocks.

Top shot for the Swiftettes was Tatum Peterson with 10 points, one offensive rebound, five defensive rebounds and five assists. Contributing shooters were Addie Dyer with nine points, one defensive rebound and three fouls; Harley Gerber, eight points, one offensive rebound, three defensive rebounds, two assists and three fouls; Makenzy Corrales, eight points, one offensive and defensive rebound, three assists, one steal and three fouls; and Iris Schilderink, seven points, one offensive rebound, three defensive rebounds, one assist, two steal, one block and five fouls.

Bliss Betzen came in with one defensive rebound and two steals; and Caroline Myrick, two assists and one block.

Swiftettes v Wall

The Swiftettes won their game against the Wall Lady Hawks in the third round of the tourney, 42-29.

Nazareth shot 10/26 (38%) field goals with 5/13 (38%) 3- point shots, 17/24 (71%) free throws, collected 21 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and one block.

Swiftettes top shots were Makenzy Corrales with 14 points, three offensive rebounds, four defensive rebounds, one assist, one steal and one foul; Tatum Peterson, 10 points, seven defensive rebounds, three assists, one block and one foul; and Addie Dyer, 10 points, four defensive rebounds, one assist and one foul.

Contributing shooters were, Brooklyn Dyer with five points, one defensive rebound and one steal; Bliss Betzen, two points, one offensive and defensive rebound, two assists and one foul; and Harley Gerber, one point, one steal and five fouls. Caroline Myrick came with four assists and three fouls.

Swiftettes v Farwell

The Swiftettes won their game against the Farwell Lady Steers, 51-38.

Nazareth shot for 18/42 (43%) field goals with 3/15 (20%) 3-point shots, collected 24 rebounds, eight assists, 12 steals and one block.

Top shooters for the Swiftettes were MaKenzy Corrales with 21 points, four offensive rebounds, two defensive rebounds, two assists, five steals and two fouls; and Tatum Peterson with 10 points, two offensive rebounds, two assists, one block and two fouls.

Contributing shooters were Iris Schilderink with six points, five defensive rebounds, one assist, three steals and two fouls; Harley Gerber, five points, one defensive rebound, one assist, one steal and two fouls; Caroline Myrick, four points, three offensive rebounds, two defensive rebounds, one steal and three fouls; Bliss Betzen, three points, one offensive rebound, three defensive rebounds and one foul; and Brooklyn Dyer, two points, one assist, one steal and one foul. Addie Dyer came in with one defensive rebound and one steal.
