The Swiftettes collected another win, beating the Abernathy Lady Antelopes, 54-26.
The Swiftettes gained a lead early in the first quarter, getting up on the Lady Antelopes 17-5. Naz continued to make gains in the second quarter, closing the first half ahead, 28-11.
The third quarter saw solid shooting again from the Swiftettes, pushing their lead by another 12 points, 46-17.
The fourth quarter sealed the victory for Naareth, 54-26.
The Swiftettes shot for 51 percent at 24 of 42 field goals; five of five free throws; collected 25 rebounds; and had 17 assists, 10 steals and six blocks.
Nazareth top shots were Merry Gerber with 17 points, one offensive rebound, seven defensive rebounds, one assist, four bloks and two fouls; Emma Kleman with 10 points, one offensive rebound, three defensive rebounds, seven assists and two steals; Makenzy Corrales with nine points, three assists, three steals and four fouls; Jaden Pigg with five points, two defensive rebounds, one block and one foul; Addie Dyer with four points, one offensive rebound and one foul; Harley Gerber with three points, one offensive rebound two defensive rebounds, one assist and one foul; and Presley Wheeler with two points, one offensive and defensive rebound, five assists, three steals and two fouls.
Contributing players were Maggie Nelson with one offensive rebound; Iris Schilderink with one defensive rebound, one block and four fouls; Tatum Peterson with one offensive rebound two defensive rebounds, two steals and two fouls.
