The Nazareth Swiftettes walked away with another decisive win over the Sudan Lady Hornets, 47-27.

Nazareth took charge in the first quarter, outscoring Sudan 11-6. The offense maintained their dominance in the second quarter while the defense held the Lady Hornets to minimum scoring, closing the first half out, 28-12.

The Swiftettes widened their lead in the third quarter, 40-18, and finished the victory in the fourth quarter, 47- 27.

Swiftettes top shots were Merry Gerber with 19 points, two assists, four offensive rebounds, 11 defensive rebounds, one steal and two fouls; Makenzy Corrales with 12 points, four assists, one offensive rebound, five defensive rebounds, one steal and one foul; and Addie Dyer with 11 points, three assists and one defensive rebound.

Contributing shooters were Harley Gerber with three points, three assists, one offensive rebound and three fouls; Iris Schilderink with two points, three offensive rebounds and one defensive rebound; Maggie Nelson with two offensive rebounds and three fouls; and Caroline Myrick with one defensive rebound.

The Swiftettes also recently claimed a win over Vega, 50-26. Top shooter for that game was Mackenzy Corrales with 21 points. No other stats available.
