Swiftettes crush Lady Matadors, 73-7

The Nazareth Swiftettes soundly beat the Adrian Lady Matadors, 73-7.

The Swiftettes took a big lead in the first quarter, 23-0 and continued to make big gains in the second quarter, while the defense held Adrian to two points. The first half ended with Nazareth ahead, 39-2.

The Swiftettes offense continued to hit the net in the third and fourth quarters, scoring 17 points in each period, while holding to the Lady Matadors to five point. They claimed the win, 73-7

Swiftette’s top shots were Emma Kleman with 15 points, three offensive rebounds, two assists, four steals and one block; Harley Gerber with 12 points, one offensive rebound, two assists, two steals and one foul; Addie Dyer with 11 points, three offensive rebounds, one assist, two steals and one foul; Tatum Peterson with 10 points, four offensive rebounds, one assist and one steal; Maggie Nelson with seven points, one offensive rebound, one assist, two steals and one foul; Presley Wheeler with five points, one defensive rebound, five assists, one steal and three fouls; Jaden Pigg with four points, three offensive rebounds, one assist, one steal and three fouls; Merry Gerber with three points, two offensive rebounds, one offensive rebound, four assists, one steal and one block; Bliss Betzen with three points one offensive rebound and one assist; Makenzy Corrales with two points, three offensive rebounds, two assists and three steals; Kyanne Dunn with two offensive rebounds, one assist and one steal.
