The Nazareth Swiftettes beat the Dumas Lady Demons, 36-17.

Nazareth got off to a slow start scoring two points in the first quarter, with Dumas taking the lead 7-2, but bounced back in the second quarter to tie the game up, 12-12.

The third quarter, Swiftettes shooter went to work, outshooting the Lady Demons by 12 points and took the lead 26-14.

The Swiftettes continued to dominate offensively in the fourth quarter, while their defense held Dumas scoring down, giving them the victory, 36-17.

Top Swiftettes shooters were Merry Gerber with 13 points, two assists, five offensive rebounds, nine defensive rebounds, one steal, three blocks and three fouls; Makenzy Corrales with eight points, three assists, two offensive rebounds, three defensive rebounds, and three steals; Harley Gerber with six points, three assists, one offensive rebound, two defensive rebounds, three steals, one block and two fouls; Tatum Peterson with four points, two offensive rebounds, three defensive rebounds and one foul; Addie Dyer with three points, three assists and one steal; Iris Schilderink with two points, one offensive rebound, two defensive rebounds, one block and one foul; Jaden Pigg with one offensive and defensive rebound, two rebounds and one steal; Maggie Nelson with one offensive rebound and three fouls; and Caroline Myrick with one assist.

The Swiftettes hit 14 of 50 shots (29%), three of 11 free throws; 12 assists; nine steals; five blocks; 33 rebounds; and 10 fouls.
