Swiftettes fall to Lynx in OT

The Nazareth Swiftettes battled the Spearman Lady Lynx in a nailbiter game, losing the bout in an overtime 44-41.

The Swiftettes shot for 13 of 34 field goals, with four of 15 three pointers; hit 11 of 27 free throws, collected 28 rebounds, eight assists, eight steals, two blocks, had 15 turnovers and 19 fouls.

Top shot for Nazareth was Presley Wheeler with 14 points, seven defensive rebounds, three assists and two fouls; followed by Iris Schilderink with nine points, two offensive rebounds, three defensive rebounds, two assists, three steals and three fouls; Tatum Peterson, seven points, two offensive rebounds, one defensive rebound, two assists, one steal, one block and two fouls; Brooklyn Birkenfeld, four points, four offensive rebounds, three defensive rebounds and two fouls; Brooklyn Dyer, four points, two offensive and defensive rebounds, one steal and two fouls; Chloe Birkenfeld, two points, one assist, one block and three fouls; Riley Ramaekers, one point and one steal; Caroline Myrick one offensive and defensive rebound, one steal and five fouls.

The Swiftettes will be traveling to the Whataburger Tournament in Fort Worth on Dec. 28-30.
