The Nazareth Swifts dropped a game to the Canyon, 66-59.

Canyon took an early lead in the first quarter, 21-7. The Swifts offense went into action, outscoring the Canyon team and narrowing their lead to 32-23.

Nazareth continue to fire away at the boards, again narrowing the gap to 47-40.

Both teams offenses scored evenly in the fourth quarter, giving the win to Canyon, 66-59

Trent Gerber with 15 points, one assist, two defensive rebounds and three fouls; Kaden Cleavinger with 12 points, one assist, two defensive rebounds and three fouls; Carson Heiman with 11 points, three assists, one offensive rebound, two defensive rebounds and three fouls; Derek Dyer with nine points, one assist, two offensive rebounds, five defensive rebounds and three fouls; Jayden High with four points, three assists and five fouls; Luke Betzen with four points, one offensive rebound and five fouls; Chance Hochstein with two points, one assist and one foul; and Luke Schulte with two points, two assists, four defensive rebounds and one foul.

The Swifts are lined up to play Tulia on Dec. 1 and Stratford at Vega on Dec. 8.
