The Nazareth Swiftettes ended their regular season with a win over the Happy Girls, 48-31, taking the district championship.

Nazareth will head into the playoffs next week, with teams and times to be announced. Bi-District playoff s are set for Feb. 13-14 and Area will be held Feb. 16-17, according to the Texas UIL brackets.

The Swiftettes shot for 16 of 40 fields, with five of 15 three-pointers, hit 11 of 21 free throws, collected 20 rebounds, 12 assists, 11 steals and 14 fouls.

Shooters included Tatum Peterson with nine points, two offensive rebounds, four defensive rebounds, three assists, one steal and two fouls; Iris Schilderink, eight points, two offensive and defensive rebounds, one assist, one steal and three fouls; Brooklyn Dyer, eight points and three steals, Presley Wheeler, seven points, two defensive rebounds, one assist, one steal and three fouls; Harley Gerber, seven points, four assists, one steal and two fouls; Brooklyn Birkenfeld, six points, one offensive and defensive rebounds, one assist, one steals and two fouls; Caroline Myrick, two points, two offensive rebounds, one assist, two steals and two fouls; Chloe Birkenfeld, one point, two offensive rebounds and one steal; and Riley Ramaekers, one assist.
