The Nazareth Swifts claimed a solid win over the Adrian Matadors, 89-23.

Nazareth offense gained control of the game over the Matadors in the first quarter, 21-3, with the defense holding Adrian to three points, 21-3.

The second quarter, the Swifts continued to pound the boards, while the Matadors worked to get some points on the board and close the growing Nazareth lead, ending the first half with Naz ahead, 49-19

แนชhe Matadors continued to struggle in the third and forth quarters, unable to make ground against the Swiftettes, ending the contest with Nazareth winning 89-23.

The Swifts shot 59 percent from the field with 37 of 63 shot hitting their mark; hit 40 percent on free throws; had 16 offensive rebounds, seven defensive rebounds, 19 assists and 22 steals.

Top shooters for Nazareth were Luke Betzen with 21 points, six assists, two defensive rebounds, and two fouls; Carson Heiman with 17 points, two assists, two steals and one foul; Kaden Cleavinger with 17 points, one assist, six offensive rebounds and two steals; Trent Gerber with 13 points, three assists, one offensive rebound, two defensive rebounds, four steals and three fouls; and Derek Dyer with 12 points, two assists, three offensive rebounds, two defensive rebounds, three steals and four fouls.
