The Nazareth Swifts beat the Happy Cowboys in a conference game, 65-21.

The Swifts positioned themselves with a strong lead in the first quarter, 18-4, and continue to attack the net, pushing out front 32-9 as the first half ended.

The third quarter, the Naz offense continued scoring while holding the Cowboys down to eight points, widening the gap to 51-17, with the fourth quarter giving the Swifts the victory, 65-21.

The Swifts field goal percentage was 63% (27/43) and 67% (2/3) percent on free throws. The team collected 16 assists, two offensive rebounds, 24 defensive rounds and eight steals.

Tops shots for the Swifts were Luke Betzen with 17 points, one offensive rebound, four defensive rebounds, one steal and one foul; and Trent Gerber with 11 points, three assists, four defensive rebounds, two steals and three fouls.
