The Nazareth Swifts took on the Bushland Falcons, winning 51-47.

The Falcons claimed the first quarter, outshooting the Swifts 16-11, but the Swifts bounced back in the second quarter, taking the lead by a single point, 23-22, as the first half came to a close.

The Swifts continued to battle and hold the lead in the third quarter, 39-36, and take the victory in the fourth quarter, 51-47.

The Swifts shot 46 percent from the field with 19 of 41, and 47 percent on eight of 17 free throws. The team had eight assists, nine offensive rebounds, 20 defensive rebounds and nine steals.

Swifts’ double-digit shooters were Kaden Cleavinger with 12 points, one assist, one offensive rebound, six defensive rebounds, one steal and one foul; and Derek Dyer with 10 points, one assist, three offensive rebounds, two defensive rebounds, one steal and one foul.

Contributing shooters were Luke Betzen with nine points, one assists, one offensive rebound, one offensive rebound, two defensive rebounds and one foul; Aidan Moore with six points, two assists, one offensive rebound, two defensive rebounds and one foul; Carson Heiman with six points, one assist, one defensive rebound and one steal; Jayden High with four points, one assist, two offensive rebounds, two steals and three fouls; Trent Gerber with four points, one offensive rebound, six defensive rebounds, three steals and three fouls; and Chance Hochstein with one assist and one defensive rebound.
