The Nazareth Swift lost a game to the Farwell Steers, 47-41

Ṫhe Steers took the lead in the first quarter, 10-8, and continue to widen the gap in the second quarter, closing the first half ahead 28-18.

Nazareth continue to battle but were unable to close the lead in the third quarter, with Farwell increasing their lead to 38-24.

The final quarter, the Swifts offense went into action and narrowed the Steers’ lead, but not enough to stop the Farwell victory, 47-41.

Swifts top shots were Kaden Cleavinger with 17 points, five offensive and defensive rebounds, three steals and four fouls; and Luke Betzen with 10 points, two assists, two offensive and defensive rebounds, one steal and three fouls.

Contributing players were Aidan Moore with six points, one assist, one offensive rebound, four defensive rebounds, one steal and one foul; Trent Gerber with five points, one assist, three defensive rebounds and five fouls; Carson Heiman with three points, two assists, one steal and three fouls; and Luke Schulte with two assists, two defensive rebounds, one steal and one foul.
