The Nazareth Swifts fell in a close game against the Farwell Steers, 51-50.

The Swifts took the lead in the first quarter, 13-9, and held onto the lead going into halftime, 27-23.

The Farwell offense battle in the second half of the game, narrowing the score to 42-41, and came in with the extra two-point shot in the fourth quarter to take the win.

The Swifts hit 20 of 41 field goals with four of 10 threepoints shots, seven of 10 free throws,collected18 rebounds, and 13 fouls.

Top shots for Nazareth was Kayle Rogers with 20 points, one offensive rebound, three defensive rebounds and two fouls; followed by Tanner Birkenfeld, nine points three assists, one offensive rebound, four defensive rebounds and four fouls; Creed Hochstein, nine points, two assists and two defensive rebounds; Sterl Welps, four points, one defensive rebound and two fouls; Reid Backus, three points, one assist and one defensive rebound; Carson Heiman, three points, one assist, four defensive rebounds and four fouls; and Simon Snead, two points and one foul.
