The Texas Tech Red Raiders scored a huge road-trip win over the Baylor Bears – quite a feat after last year’s loss 45-17.

Overall, Texas Tech ended the game with 68 total plays for 356 total yards; 180 passing yards; 186 rushing yards; three punts; four penalties for 40 yards; one fumble and one interception.

The Bears gained 341 yards in 68 plays; 324 passing yards; 17 rushing yards; three punts; one penalty for 10 yards; and one fumble.

Red Raider Tahj Brooks finished the game with 31 carries for 170 yards, his fourth straight 100+ yard performance and touchdown run in the 4th quarter.

TTU quarterback Behren Morton completed 19-of 26 attempted passes for 180 yards, three touchdowns and an interception as well as a rushing touchdown. Receiver Myles Price came through for 10 receptions for 90 yards.

Defensively, Steve Lenton led the defense with six sacks and Ben Roberts, two sacks. Texas Tech rushing defense held Baylor to only 17 yards on the ground in 30 attempts.

The Red Raiders will face defending Big 12 champs Kansas State (5-1, 2-1) on Saturday at 6 p.m.
