The City of Tulia called a Special Meeting on Friday, July 31, 2026 in the Council Chambers of Tulia City Hall to consider action on the 20242025 City Audit.The City is in a better audit condition than it has been in previous years. The City could easily pay off all debt if necessary.

Last week was really a calm week for me because I didn’t have too many things on my agenda. I just enjoyed being at my house and thought about all of the advantages I have of living out in the country. So many people over the past few years have asked me why I don’t just move to Dallas.

Tulia Elementary School Get Ready to Level Up

Come to Tulia Elementary School on August 10th from 4L00PM5:30PM to meet the teachers. A fun evening is planned to meet the teachers, see the classrooms, and kick off an amazing school year. Students will be able to spin the Prize Wheel. Adults can win door prizes. Hot dogs will be served.

Meet the Hornets

All Hornet fans are invited to Meet the Hornets on August 7th at 7:00PM at Younger Field. Tulia High School athletes and coaches will be introduced at this time. The annual tradition of free watermelon will be provided as long as supplies last.
