Tessa Talsma is the daughter of Kenny and Theresa Talsma. While in high school she has been active in softball (four years), one act play, served as the football and basketball manager and contributed to the yearbook.

AgriLife Extension offers school pest management trainings statewide

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a series of School Integrated Pest Management, IPM, Coordinator Trainings across the state from Feb. 12 through May 7. The events offer both new and current coordinators the opportunity to fulfill state-mandated training requirements.

Swisher County Museum Annual Meeting Discussed Changes over the Past 50 Years

The Annual Meeting of the Swisher County Museum was held on Sunday at noon in the Memorial Building. The Lunch Box provided a catered meal. The Annual business meeting was conducting which included minutes from the previous year’s meeting, the financial report and a director’s report.
