Fire Department Annual Christmas Party and Awards

The Tulia fire department held their annual Christmas party on December 6th. The annual event includes fun, fellowship, games and recognitions and award presented to the deserving firefighters.

December City Council Meeting

Tulia City Council met on December 16th in the Council Chambers of Tulia City Hall for a regularly scheduled meeting. No public comments were presented. The Consent Agenda was approved as presented.

Tulia ISD December School Board Meeting

A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Tulia Independent School District was held on December 15th in the Swinburn Board Room. No public comments were heard.Tulia Elementary School Principal David Dale recognized the Tulia Elementary School students of the month.

This week I went to Dallas to see Ava in an abbreviated version of the Nutcracker. Her studio did outdoor performances for the public on two weekends. Their main theatre production will be in a week. The performance was really good.
