Hart Junior High Cross Country runners finished their season with great success. The girls team finished second in district. Team members are Lexi Cisneros, MIa Longoria, Savannah Corrales, Mairany Florentino, Sadie Carrasco, Janeth Morales, and Camila Perez. Individual medalists for the girls were Lexi Cisneros, 3rd Place; Mia Longoria, 6th Place, and Mairany Florentino, 7th place. Coaches for the XC teams are Cailin Neudorf and Corie Longoria.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has extended the state financial aid application priority deadline to Feb. 15 for the 20252026 application cycle due to delays with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).The standard annual deadline is Jan.

The Dimmitt Bobcats scored a homecoming game win against the Highland Park Hornets, 34-19.The Bobcats racked up 418 years, with 68 passing yards and 350 rushing yards and 18 first downs, one fumble and three interceptions thrown, and 10 penalties for 50 yards.
Aiden Cisneros and America Cardoza competed at the District 4-1A Cross Country Championships held at Kidsville in Plainview on Tuesday, qualifying to advance to Regionals. Cisneros placed third and Cardoza, sixth and will compete at the Regional Cross Country Meet on Oct. 21 at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock. Also earning a medal in the Girls JV Division was Marilen Vega who finished in 9th place.

JV team members include Kyndrey Branum, 5th, McKinley Moore, 7th, Sydney Branum, 8th, Kira Patzold, 18th. The Varsity team advances to the Regional Meet at Mae Simmons in Lubbock on Oct. 22 and will run at 9 a.m.
