CCH celebrates National Kidney Awareness Month
The Nazareth FFA Homesite Team scored a big win at the Ochiltree County Soil and Water Conservation District #142 competition. Nazareth was named the champion team at their first outing of the season, with Caysen High winning high individual, Harrison Meador, second high individual, Max Snead, fifth place, and Oliver Meador participating.

Dimmitt High School senior Na’Khiyah Porras competed at the THSWPA 3A DII State Championships and placed second in the 220-weight division with a total weight of 1,010 pounds. (BWT – 216 ; Squat – 360; Bench Press – 225 ; Dead Lift – 425). Porras also earned the Outstanding Deadlift Award in Class 3A. Other Dimmitt lifters competing at state were Jesimae Gomez, Rosalinda Comparan, Shaylagh Henriquez, Samara Smith, Estreya Rubio and Yadira Esqueda. The team is coached by Ruby Romero.
