Bethel Chicken Fry set for Aug. 10

The annual Bethel Community Chicken Fry is on the calendar for Aug. 10. The popular community event will be held at Greg Sides’ house at 1905 FM 1524 and will begin at 7 p.m. Attendees should bring lawn chairs and a side dish or dessert that evening.

Chamber golf tourney kicks off Aug. 12

The Dimmitt Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual golf tournament on Aug. 12. The 4-person scramble will be held at Dimmitt Recreation, with ball drop at 9:30 a.m. and tee time at 10 a.m.
