Mississippi State University Head Football Coach Mike Leach had a massive heart attack this past Sunday, leading to hospitalization in the Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, and died on Monday evening.

Bushland edged out in the lead about the middle of the first quarter until the Bobcats got warmed up and the offensive started sinking baskets and gaining the lead by two points at the end of the period, 13-10.

The Dimmitt Bobcats were defeated by the Farwell Steers, 56-44. The first quarter, both teams came in with 10 points each, tying the score going into the second quarter. Dimmitt outshot the Steers by three points, putting them in the lead 26-23 going into halftime.
