Hegar distributes $1.1B in monthly sales tax revenue

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.06 billion in local sales tax allocations for October, 17.4 percent more than in October 2021.

DMS Bobcats split one win, one loss against Lynx

The Dimmitt Middle School Bobcats 7th-grade football team defeated Spearman, winning 28-16 and now have a 30 record. The Dimmitt Middle School Bobcats 7th-grade football team remains undefeated after taking down the Spearman Lynx 28-16 last Thursday. They now have a 3-0 record.

Daniel Schacher, 21st overall, Jack Welps, Tanner Wethington, Alishia Osterkamp, Emily Durbin and Jett Ramaekers. The team was set to compete at the Texas State Fair this week.
