Castro County is full of giving people. We witness it every day, every month. Most recently, the Pink Ladies gave a big donation to the Dimmitt Volunteer Fire Department – as they have done for some years.
Following another successful year for the Pink Ladies Chili Cookoff, the group presented a check for $17,600 to the Dimmitt Fire Volunteer Fire Department. The annual event brings in the largest local donation to the DFVW, with the Pink Ladies staunchly supporting the funding of the firefighters each year.
