Facebook debates are proving people just want others to agree with them or they fall back on “you hate us” excuses to manipulate the person they are engaging. Be it politics, religion, or any other subject, this has become the manta if you won’t agree with some subject, “You hate us.

I just got back from a family reunion. I enjoyed seeing distant cousins whose names I couldn’t remember. I just called them all “cuz.” They called me the same thing, and we had a great time discussing things we’d done together…even though we couldn’t quite remember where we’d done them.

Benefit planned for Cure family

Paxton Tire & Service will be hosting a BBQ dinner to benefit Michele Cure and her family. The event will be on July 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dimmitt High School Cafetorium. Michel Cure was injured early this year in a bad car accident and has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

The Dimmitt Bobbies high school and junior high athletes attended the Queens Basketball Camp 2022 on June 21 through June 23. The camp had two sections, one for Pre-K to 6th grade, and another for 7th through 12th grade.
