Since announcing my bid for Castro County Judge, I have been overwhelmed by the support from this community. I want to take an opportunity to introduce myself and explain why I am running for Castro County Judge. My name is Mandy Gfeller, and I have spent my life loving Castro County.

The Nazareth FFA Dairy Judging team competed against 100 teams at the San Antonio Livestock Show. Nazareth came in with a 7th place overall. The judging team members are Tanner Wethington, Iris Schilderink, Dayson Schacher and Jett Ra maekers.

Dimmitt High School students Valerie Ramirez and Gabriela Presas participated in the Rural Student Health Sciences Mentorship Program. They completed this year with the High School to Health Science Day at Texas Tech, with one of the highlights of the day visiting the cadaver lab.

Nazareth FFA Horse Judging

Nazareth FFA Horse Judging competed in the contest at the San Antonio Livestock Show and came in with a 7th place of the 101 teams participating. Team members include Will Young, Tell Bagley (who placed 4th individually), Kamre Mask and Iris Schilderink.

The Nazareth Robotics teams worked their way to the North League championship on Feb. 2, advancing both teams to the Regional tournament in Lubbock to be held on Feb. 19 at Lubbock High School.
