Area schools compete at Lubbock Invitational XC

Dimmitt, Hart and Nazareth cross country teams competed at the Lubbock Invitational Cross Country this past Saturday. The event was held at Mae Simmons Park. Dimmitt varsity boys com Dimmitt varsity boys competed in the 3A Men’s 5,000 Meter run against 154 runners from 22 schools.

Acker wins four firsts at Tri-State Fair

Castro County 4-H Spencer Acker came through with a lot of wins at the Tri-State Fair Youth Culinary and Amateur Photography contests. Acker picked up four first places, one second place and one third place in the culinary division and third place in photography.
