Dimmitt Book Club has set May 12 as the date for a meeting at Dimmitt Country Club. The group, which has been on hiatus since early 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, plans to start the meeting at 11:30 a.m. that day as members convene for a Dutch treat meal.

DHS graduating senior Lizbeth Fuentes

DHS graduating senior Lizbeth Fuentes earned a Panhandle-Plains Higher Education Foundation Windmill Scholarship for $4,000, renewable each year. Students are required to be enrolled in full-time college; Lizbeth plans to attend WTAMU in the fall. She is the daughter of Martha and Francisco Fuentes.
