Naz FFA qualifies 13 for Area speaking contest

Nazareth FFA competed in the FFA Plainview District speaking contest this week with solid results and qualifying many for the Area contest. Forty-eight students compete for 18 Area qualifying passes on earned 13 of those tickets. Area contest is May 13.

Nazareth Track & Field headed for Regionals

The Nazareth Track & Field team competed in the Area Meet held in Vega and did very well, qualifying nine athletes for the Regional Meet to be held in Levelland.

Nazareth Tennis bound for Regionals

The Nazareth Tennis athletes are headed for Regionals with some solid first and second place wins in District competition. In mixed doubles matches, Carson Heiman and Harley Gerber placed first and Luke Schulte and Iris Schilderink came in second. Both teams qualified for Regionals.

Castro 4-H competes

Castro County 4-H had 18 youth compete in District 2 4- H Livestock Judging in Lubbock. Juniors - 3rd-5th grade The Castro County Junior team won 8th place overall.
