Coach Jesus Rossy

Coach Jesus Rossy will be joining the DHS Bobcats football staff as the offensive coordinator in the upcoming season. He attended Tascosa High School and graduated from West Texas A&M University.

I’m not sure I had much sense of smell until sixth grade. The only aroma I remember before that was dinner rolls in the elementary cafeteria.But junior high was different. For the first time, many girls started wearing perfume. Guys started splashing on after-shave.

Library Lines ...

Residents of small towns often lament that there is very little for youngsters to do in said town, so we here at Rhoads Memorial Library are trying to alleviate that concern. We are adding a ‘Story Time’ to our summer programming with the help of Dimmitt resident Mavrik Gfeller.

Rollins signs waivers on SNAP purchases

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins signed waivers to amend the statutory definition of food for purchase for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programs (SNAP) in Indiana and Iowa, each commencing in 2026.
