The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals held that California’s law prohibiting people from buying more than one firearm in a 30-day period violates the Second Amendment.

The City of Dimmitt is set to begin construction on the new splash part, which can hopefully be used by the last of summer. It will be located near the Dimmitt Skate Park.

The Dimmitt Splash Park is getting closer to becoming a reality.According to City Manager Daniel Jackson, all preconstruction project element tasks for the Dimmitt Splash Park have been completed by the city, submitted, and approved by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD).

Nazareth Swifts Coach Mitchell Parsley has been inducted into the Texas Six Man Coaches Association Hall of Fame.Parsley was born and raised in Crowell, Texas.

Hart ISD will be welcoming Coach James Shelton to lead the Longhorns football team as head coach. He will also be on staff as the assistant principal. Shelton’s last coaching position was at Kress ISD.
