Hegar distributes $1.3B in sales tax revenue

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced today he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.3 billion in local sales tax allocations for May, 4.5 percent more than in May 2024.
The Nazareth Swifts baseball team won their Bi-District round in the playoffs and will advance to Area. The Swifts beat Bordon County in both games, winning the first game 14-1, and the second game 14-0. The Swifts will face Booker in the first Area game on Thursday at 6 p.m. Game 2 and 3 are tentatively set for Friday at West Texas High. Time to be announced.

Naz Swift Basketball camp signup underway

The Nazareth Swift Basketbal camp is set to be held May 19 through May 22 for incoming kindergarten through ninth grade.The camp offers the opportunity to improve basketball skills with an emphasis on fundamentals and a positive outlook on the camp.
