Flash flood warnings continued in numerous parts of Central Texas on Monday, hampering many search and rescue efforts.The NWS warned of a dangerous situation unfolding across northern Uvalde, eastern Real, western Bandera and southwest Kerr County after 2 to 4.78 inches fell in three to four hours.

The regular meeting of the Castro County Commissioners Court was held this past Monday with numerous action items to approve and reports from county entities. .County Judge Mandy Gfeller reported that the employee open enrollment for health insurance is scheduled for Aug. 20.
