The next Texas Junior Anglers Community Fishing Day in Hereford is set for Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Josserand Aquatic Park Pond. Kids are invited to bring their families and enjoy a fun-filled morning of fishing.Tackle and bait will be provided for those kids who need it.

n Festivities garner $105,000 for CenterMechanical mounts brought home the bacon at the seventh annual Hereford Senior Citizens Kentucky Derby Run for the Roses in Bloom event to the tune of a take of $105,000 according to Vanessa Nava, executive director of the Hereford Senior Citizens Association.
