The future of conservation doesn’t depend on a single person, but it’s a good thing that there have been individuals through history to help us to recognize our place in the natural world.

As of pres time Friday, the Hereford Whitefaces led their best-of-three Area Playoff series against El Paso Riverside one game to zero. The Whitefaces won the first contest 4-3. The series was being played in Monahans with games two and three (if necessary) scheduled for Friday.

HPD arrests man after golf course pursuit

On Monday, May 4th, 2026 at approximately 11:00 AM, officers from the Hereford Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a tan in color GMC pickup in the 400 block of Barrett St for failing to signal intent to turn and expired registration.
