Cooksey

David Randall Cooksey or “Skeeter”, 64 of Dimmitt, Texas passed away on Nov. 18, 2023.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 24, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors in Amarillo, Texas with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors in Amarillo.

David was born in Crosbyton, Texas on Aug. 18, 1959, to Leona May (Harrell) and Raymond Eugene Cooksey.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by one sister, Glenda Hicks and husband Rich; two brothers, Ken Cooksey and wife Stephanie, and Gene Cooksey; and many extended family members, nieces, nephews, step family members and many good friends.

Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon, Texas.
