Nazareth ISD continues to prove that it has a the right “recipe” for developing character and success in both academics and athletic competition. The most recent trip to state for the Nazareth Swifts is indicative of that.

Grocery Store Visit

Last week when I walked into the grocery, I was in no hurry. If I get home too early, my wife makes me work. Each time I enter that store, I scrub my hands with the free sanitizer. After a couple minutes, I am the model of sterility. An older lady at a small table invites me to try a new recipe.

My Millennial neighbors – very nice people – asked me what it was like to be a Baby Boomer. I scratched my head like I was having a complex though, but actually, it was just dandruff. Then I started talking.

I know parents are asking themselves this question today: As a parent concerned about the safety of my child at school how do I get involved? I know many are feeling helpless to effect change.

Dating

I often eat lunch with a group of downtown buddies. Last meeting, we discussed our dating years. Some of these guys are currently unmarried, but not by choice. A few of them have something to offer a lady, but others might be disqualified from reputable dating sites.
