The Nazareth Swifts baseball team won their Bi-District round in the playoffs and will advance to Area. The Swifts beat Bordon County in both games, winning the first game 14-1, and the second game 14-0. The Swifts will face Booker in the first Area game on Thursday at 6 p.m. Game 2 and 3 are tentatively set for Friday at West Texas High. Time to be announced.

The Hart Junior High tennis team competed at the District 4-1A meet. Dael Longoria and Elizabeth Carrasco placed 3rd in mixed doubles. In girls’ doubles, Yalexii Cisneros and Mia Longoria placed 3rd, and Sadie Carrasco and Camila Perez placed 4th. Savannah Corrales placed 2nd in girl’s singles, and Avram Morales is the boy’s singles champion.

Nazareth Kayle Rogers qualified for the Texas UIL State Track Meet by placing second in the Shot Put event this past weekend at the Regionals competition held at South Plains College. Coming in just shy of qualifying for state was Maddie Brockman who place third in the 400-meter dash.

The Hart Tennis Team competed at the SPCHEA Tennis Meet in Levelland. Singles:Dominic Dominguez and Leslie Dominguez both placed 1st; Noah Marin placed 3rd;Noah Marin won consolation. The District meet is in Hart on April 21.
