USDA sets deadline for ERP applications

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the deadline for commodity and specialty crop producers to apply for the Emergency Relief Program (ERP) for 2022 natural disaster losses is Aug. 14. USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) began accepting ERP 2022 applications in October 2023.

DHS athletes prepare for big season

While high school athletes are out for summer break, workouts are popping up on the schedule.Summer conditioning workouts began on June 10 at 9 a.m. for grades 7 through 12. An evening session is being provided for those who can’t come in the mornings.

The Dimmitt Athletic Booster Club announced the winners of the first DABC basketball tournament. Tagged as “the Olton boys”, the team took the whole tournament with no games lost. Proceeds and donations earned from the tournament were given directly to families of the recent car crashes.
