Isaac Sifuentez Jr., Noah Arriaga, Andrew Arriaga and Derrick Quirozm from Dimmitt attended the Amarillo Sod Poodles Play Ball Weekend baseball clinic at Hodgetown. Minor League clubs across the country joined with their MLB counterparts to celebrate Playball Weekend on June 14-16. Clubs hosted a variety of events to engage young fans and share the fun of playing baseball and softball. Play Ball Weekend in Amarillo was sponsored by Fluid Line Components.

The Shallowater Summer League began last week with the Dimmitt Bobbies playing Shallowater Varsity and Shallowater JV. The Bobbies will travel to Abernathy to play Abernathy and Brownfield on June 13.
