The Dimmitt Bobcats defeated the Olton Mustangs 52-44 on Nov. 28. The Bobcats took an early lead in the first quarter, 15-5 and continued to outshoot the Mustangs in the second quarter, closing the first half out 33-19.

The Dimmitt Bobcats suffered a loss to the River Road Wildcats 34-29. River Road took an early lead in the first quarter, 10-6, but the Bobcats came back in the second quarter to outscore the Wildcats and had the lead as the first half ended, 14-12.

The Dimmitt Bobcats were defeated by the Hale Center Owls, 72-45. Hale Center took the lead 23-12 over the Bobcats in the first quarter. The Bobcats battled in the second quarter, out scoring the Owls, but still trailed by five points at the end of the first half, 36-31.

Texas A&M University has named Mike Elko, head coach at Duke University and former Texas A&M defensive coordinator, to be head coach for Aggies football. The hiring was announced by TAMU Director of Athletics Ross Bjork.
