The PGA Tour announced in a statement Thursday it is suspending all current players who joined the Saudi-backed LIV Golf league and will do the same to any player who joins the league in the future.

This past Saturday, May 28, Dimmitt Bobcat Band percussionist Paden Mick performed in the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest in Pflugerville, earning a 2nd Division Excellent rating for his solo performance. Paden has qualified for the TSSEC all four years in high school.

Olen Schulte Rodeo set for June 3-4

The annual Olen Schulte Rodeo and Wild West Show is on the calendar for June3-4 and will prove to be as much fun as last year’s event. The rodeo will be held at Marvin Schulte’s arena five mile east of Nazareth behind Elmer’s Package Store.
