Nov. 30

Benjamin Birdwell, 35 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Dec. 2

Jose Aguilar, 31 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police on a Castro County warrant for Indecency with a Child Exposes.

Dec. 3

Michael Mara, 42 of Amarillo, was transported back Castro County from Willacy County by the Sheriff’s Office on a Bench Warrant out of the 242nd District Court.

Craig Ryan Ochoa, 20 of Dilley, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 over 1 gram-under 4 grams; Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces; Unlawful Carrying a Weapon; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Minor in Possession of Tobacco Products; and Operate an Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Dec. 4

Jerry Dale Bybee Jr., 38 of Amarillo, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility; and Display Expired Driver’s License.

Dec. 5 Fernando Longoria, 40 of Earth, was transported back to Castro County from Lamb County by the Sheriff’s Office on a Bench Warrant out of the 242nd District Court.

Steven Ricketts, 26 of Slaton, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram.

Harold Dean House, 49 of Lubbock, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 under 1 gram.

Dec. 6

Justin David Puyear, 22 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for No Driver’s License; Expired Motor Vehicle Registration; and Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility.

Jared Pierce, 27 of Snyder, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Dec. 7

Justin James Fisk, 25 of Colorado City, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Amanda Ruth Martin, 39 of Snyder, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over 1 gram-under 4 grams; Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Tampering with Physical Evidence; and Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.

Dec. 9

Abel Isaiah Flores, 19 of Olton, was transported back to Castro County from Lamb County by the Sheriff’s Office on a Castro County warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over 4 grams-under 200 grams.

Dec. 11

Lance Dee McCaslin, 42 of Tulia, was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office for Driving While Intoxicated with Child under 15 years of age; Evading Arrest or Detention with Vehicle; Terroristic Threat against Judge/Peace Officer; Endanger Child Criminal Negligence; and Resist Arrest, Search, or Transportation.

Dec. 12

Maximiliano Perez-Hernandez, 21 of Dimmitt, was arrested by the Dimmitt Police for Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility and No Driver’s License.

242nd DISTRICT COURT Kregg Hukill, presiding judge

Mark Longoria, 40 of Earth, pleaded guilty to the charge of Murder. He requested a Bench Trial to assess his punishment. After a trial, Longoria was sentenced to Life in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division plus a $1000 fine.
