Robotics season is about to get underway with teams from Nazareth, Hart and Dimmitt competing at a Texas-West and Panhandle Region scrimmage this past weekend at AmTech Center in Amarillo. Nazareth had two all-rookie teams – Teams 18570 and 16617 - competing at the event.

USDA provides funding to distressed farm loan borrowers

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that distressed borrowers with qualifying USDA farm loans have already received nearly $800 million in assistance, as part of the $3.1 billion in assistance for distressed farm loan borrowers provided through Section 22006 of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.06 billion in local sales tax allocations for October, 17.4 percent more than in October 2021.
