July state sales tax revenue $3.9B

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.88 billion in July, 14.7 percent more than in July 2021, and the highest monthly collections on record. The majority of July sales tax revenue is based on sales made in June and remitted to the agency in July.

The Miss Hart Pageant got things underway for Hart Days this past Thursday. Toree Jo Evans was honored with the Miss Hart title and Little Miss Hart was A’Riah Cedillo. “Our Roots Run Deep”, was a fitting theme the celebration. The event had packed crowds for all three days who took advantage activities, a parade, food, craft booth, bounce houses, water slides and tournaments.
