Bertha Alicia Salas, 57 of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Dimmitt surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 6, at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Arockiaraj Malapady, Deacon John Nino, and Deacon Richard Martinez as celebrants. Burial will follow in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the church.

K. Aremid Eymbers, formerly known as Kimmie Ann Hollums, passed away at Staten Island Hospital in Staten Island, NY at the age of 61 years. She was born the daughter of Kenneth and Shirley Hollums and attended Dimmitt Schools for several years before graduating from Lubbock Christian High School in 1978. She obtained a Paralegal certificate and held a real estate license. While in Dimmitt she enjoyed restoring houses and selling them. Aremid spent the past 12 years working in Staten Island, New York in several management and clerical positions until her passing on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

Martin Eugene (Gene) Ross, 87 of Plainview, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022. Private Family Services will be at a later date.

Mary “Catherine” Hochstein, 92, a lifelong resident of Nazareth, Texas joined our Heavenly Father on Saturday June 18, 2022, surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth, with the Rev. Bhaskar Adusupalli, Deacon Bob Birkenfeld and Deacon Joe Hochstein as celebrants. Rosary/Vigil services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, at 7 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Reception of her body at the church be will earlier that day at 4 p.m. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt.
