Gilreath

Jean Gilreath of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Sept. 10, 2025, in Dimmitt, at the age of 90 years.A memorial service honoring Jean will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Dimmitt, with Dr. Johnathan Sullivan and Pastor Cody Neinast officiating.

Sides

George H. Sides, a son, brother, husband, Daddy and G’pa was born Dec. 15, 1930, at home in the Roosevelt community, east of Lubbock, to Benjamin Horace and Ora Ethel (McLean) Sides. He was later joined by two brothers, Jack and Benny.George grew up in the Roosevelt community.

Robert Simeon “Bob” Reily Jr., formerly of Colorado City, Texas, passed away on Aug. 30, 2025, in Bedford, Texas, at the age of 96. Funeral services were held at First United Methodist Church of Colorado City on Saturday, Sept. 6, with Pastor Kaleb Jackson officiating.

Jenny Sue Clark, 74, left this earth on July 14, 2025, in Dimmitt, Texas.Jenny was born on September 27, 1950, in McAlester, Oklahoma to Francis Juneve and W.C. “Dub” Wooten. She was the second child born into the family and was exceptionally close to her father.

Lane

Charlie Lane, 72, a lifelong resident of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, in Oklahoma City.Charlie was born on Jan. 1, 1953, in Littlefield, Texas, to Samuel and Ollie (Haywood) Lane. He grew up in Dimmitt, attended school, and graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1971.

HunterRoy Edmond Hunter, 93,of Roaring Springs, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 16 in Amarillo, Texas.Edmond was born on Jan.15, 1932, to Roy and-Lueraney Hunter in Turkey, Texas.

Norma Grace Smith

Norma Grace Smith, 88, of Dimmitt, Texas, passed awayon Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Amarillo, Texas.Norma was born on June 11, 1936, in Foard County, Texas, to Norman and Grace (Matthews) Gray in a farmhouse 2.5 miles northwest of Thalia, Texas. She attended school in Thalia through the fourth grade.

Davis

Stratton Kade Davis was born on Nov.16, 2004, in Hobbs, New Mexico, to Nathan and Johana Davis. He came into this world six weeks early, full of fight and ready for life. Tragically, Stratton lost his beloved mother when he was just 10 months old.
