The Nazareth Tennis athletes are headed for Regionals with some solid first and second place wins in District competition. In mixed doubles matches, Carson Heiman and Harley Gerber placed first and Luke Schulte and Iris Schilderink came in second. Both teams qualified for Regionals.

The DHS Bobbies Golf team competed at the District meet in Lubbock, finishing fourth place. Members of the team: Fabiola Perez, Alyssa Monreal, Amy Oviedo, Victoria Hernandez and Shaylagh Henriquez. The DHS Bobcats Golf Team attended the District meet in Lubbock, finishing third place.

The Dimmitt Bobcats walked away with a win over the River Road Wildcats, 5-4. Neither team scored in the first two innings, but River Road came with a run in the third and fourth to take the lead, 2-0.

Harrison Meador shot 98/100 in trap to compete in the age Division II finals where he placed 2nd out of 264 competitors. Oliver Meador shot an 83/100 and though he didn’t make the finals, he was in the top 15 percent of all shooters in his age division.
