Mid-Plains plans to make similar donations to other fire departments in their service area. On Memorial Day, tine Tulia community gathered at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1798 to honor the nation’s fallen heroes in a moving program that beautifully bridged sacrifice and community. The playing of Lee Greenwood’s, “God Bless the USA” opened this year’s program.
